    The Portland DoubleTree is conveniently located in the Lloyd District in close-in NE Portland. The area is undergoing redevelopment as a sustainable “ecodistrict” with new residences, restaurants, and retail opening in 2016 and 2017. The hotel occupies an entire city block, across NE 11th Ave from Holladay Park and adjacent to Lloyd Center Mall (known for its indoor skating rink). A short walk beyond the mall are the restaurants, cafes, and bars along NE Broadway (near its intersection with NE 15th Ave).     The DoubleTree has excellent access to Portland’s efficient public transportation. The Red (Beaverton - PDX Airport), Blue (Hillsboro - Gresham), and Green (PSU - Clackamas) lines of Trimet’s MAX light rail service run along NE Holladay St on the south side of the hotel and the park. The Lloyd Center/NE 11th Ave (westbound and eastbound) stop is just a few steps away from the hotel lobby. To get downtown from the hotel, take any westbound train. (Alternatively, the Portland Streetcar loops around the city center using the Tilikum Crossing and Broadway bridges: catch the clockwise A Loop at NE 7th & Holladay or the counterclockwise B Loop at NE Grand & Holladay.)
