Baltimore. Bustling colonial port. Birthplace of our national anthem. Industrial giant. Hip metropolis. Ever a welcome refuge for free thinkers.

Baltimore is the port city for the mighty Chesapeake Bay and is rich with its traditions, culture, and cuisine. "Charm City" is renowned for its patchwork of distinct and fascinating neighborhoods. From our conference venue in vibrant Harbor East, it is a short walk to the quaint streets of Federal Hill, restaurants of Little Italy, museums of Mt. Vernon, or along cobblestones to the oldest saloon in the country at Fell's Point. The many waterfront neighborhoods are woven together by the seven-mile long waterfront promenade of the Inner Harbor.

Serving as the center point for the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States, Baltimore is easy to reach from almost anywhere. It is served by four major international airports. The primary airport, Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshal (BWI) is connected to downtown by both intercity and light rail. Other air gateways include Washington, DC's Dulles (IAD) and National (DCA) airports as well as Philadelphia (PHL), all within 1.5 hours of the venue. Baltimore is a hub for the Northeast corridor of rail and road networks and is an easy half-day's drive from twelve neighboring states. Within the city, subway, light rail, and water taxis are supplemented by a network of FREE circulator buses.
