We have compiled an FAQ (below) to provide information for our attendees with disability-related needs.&nbsp; If you cannot find the information you need in the FAQ below, please contact the Accessibility Chairs at <a href=\"mailto:accessibility2025@cscw.acm.org\">accessibility2025@cscw.acm.org<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of respect for people with multiple chemical sensitivities, please refrain from using scented products when attending this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I communicate accessibility needs to event organizers?<\/strong><br>Accessibility needs are best communicated through the conference registration form under the question, \u201cDo you have a disability or special need that requires our awareness?\u201d If you have additional needs that were not specified during the registration process, please contact the Accessibility Chairs, Houda El Mimouni and Valeria Borsotti, as soon as possible at <a href=\"mailto:accessibility2025@cscw.acm.org\">accessibility2025@cscw.acm.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Getting there<\/strong><br>The conference venue is located in the city centre of Bergen, 400m from the main station \u2013 the route is wheelchair accessible. Read more about travelling in Norway with disabilities here <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitnorway.com\/plan-your-trip\/travelling-with-disabilities\/\">https:\/\/www.visitnorway.com\/plan-your-trip\/travelling-with-disabilities\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Accessibility of conference venue<\/strong><br>The conference venue is wheelchair accessible and accessible for power scooters. The security guards can provide assistance when needed.<br>Pictures and the overall floor plans of Grieghallen can be found here (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.grieghallen.no\">www.grieghallen.no<\/a>).<br>The venue includes the following large and open spaces: Foyer Spissen Level 1; Foyer Spissen Level 2; Dovregubbens Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the arrangements for presenters with accessibility needs?<\/strong><br>Ramps to the stage in the conference rooms can be provided if needed. For any request, including but not limited to having a stool on stage, a wireless microphone, a volunteer to operate slides or guide you onto and off of the stage, or ASL interpretation, please contact the Accessibility Chairs<ins>.<\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Asthma\/Allergy<\/strong><br>All floral decorations will be allergy friendly. The following venues are carpeted: Foyer Spissen 2 floor, Foyer Peer Gynt 2 floor, Foyer Peer Gynt 0 floor, Corridors 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> floor, Svane, Gjendine. The rest have hardwood, vinyl flooring, or tiles.<br>The event is smoke-free. The venue will be ventilated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Restroom facilities<\/strong><br>The restrooms are on the same level as the meeting rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Guide dogs<\/strong><br>It is possible to bring guide dogs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Walking and standing<\/strong><br>Coffee breaks will involve standing. The amount of walking depends on which sessions you attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Will there be an induction loop in the meeting rooms?<\/strong><br>An induction loop will be available only in the plenary sessions room, but it will need to be pre-installed, so let us know if this is needed. If you need to use the induction loop please request it via the conference registration form under the question, \u201cDo you have a disability or special need which requires our awareness?\u201d If you have additional questions, you can contact the Accessibility Chairs at <a href=\"mailto:accessibility2025@cscw.acm.org\">accessibility2025@cscw.acm.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Will speakers and audience members ask questions using a microphone?<\/strong><br>Yes, all rooms are equipped with microphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Will sign language interpretation or captioning be available?<\/strong><br>Sign language interpreters or captioners could be available if requested by any attendees during the early registration period. Please identify your interpretation needs on the registration page under the question \u201cDo you have a disability or special need which requires our awareness?\u201d and an Accessibility Chair will contact you. Requests should be made by September 29. If you make your request after this date, we will try our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee that interpreters or captioners will be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Personal interpreters<\/strong><br>We aim to provide sufficient space and light for the participants\u2019 personal interpreters. Please contact the Accessibility Chairs if you are accompanied by a personal interpreter so we can ensure to provide appropriate light: <a href=\"mailto:accessibility2025@cscw.acm.org\">accessibility2025@cscw.acm.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dietary options<\/strong><br>Coffee\/tea is available all day; food will be included in coffee breaks each day mid-morning and mid-afternoon.<br>All the food will be marked with allergy information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Will presenters have a spotlight when presenting?<\/strong><br>Yes, in the larger rooms, not in the smaller ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Will masks be required at the event?<\/strong><br>No, masks are not required but attendees may wear masks if they choose. Please bring your own mask as the conference will not have masks to provide to attendees.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What if I have a medical emergency or health problem during the event?<\/strong><br>In Norway, you can call 113 for ambulances, 112 for police, and 110 for fire.
